About this blog

This blog was created back in 2007 originally with the intention to keep it as my personal little painting/sketching diary. By that time I was trying to get back more seriously into drawing and painting. I had just joined the Yahoo-EDM group and was very fascinated by the daily-painting movement that I came across while browsing different art blogs. Of course, I just had to try this as well and hence I also set myself the goal to finish at least one painting every week (one every day would have been impossible from the very beginning 😉 ) and for a certain period of time it worked well, but not for long.

The biggest change that happened to this blog was probably that day when I decided to post a little tutorial for some friends in the EDM group, just to show them how easy it would be to change a Lamy nib. The Lamy tutorial was born and has ever since attracted between two to three dozen viewers each day. Amazing.

Times have changed and ever since I’m not posting that much anymore here. Yet even if my work is keeping me busy and away from painting, I’m still checking this blog and the comments regularly at least once a week. So if you do have questions or comments, please don’t hesitate to post them. I’ll try my best to get back to you as soon as possible.
